    Gentlemen

I owe you an apology. I would like to recount a little conversation I had today:

SWMBO: Would you like me to read something off the net about the rape situation in the annals of power (that was nearly inappropriate, but spellcheck saved me there. Two "N"s )

Bushmiller: Ok, I'm interested, but don't be too longwinded as I have my video hook up in a few minutes and I have set the timer so I don't miss it.

SWMBO: Oh. Have they changed the day to Saturday?

    Bushmiller: ......Pardon?

    SWMBO: Today is Saturday.

    Bushmiller: No, It's Friday.....Wait I'll check...... Oh!............

    Shift work strikes again.

    Regards
    Paul

A self centred suggestion, as of late I’m struggling to make the Friday lunch time prattle.

An maybe some others find the Friday time slot difficult.

Personally I would find a Sunday evening time slot easier to fit in. Say 8 pm.

    But it’s just a suggestion.

    Cheers Matt.

As many of you would have guessed, Friday 12pm is hit and miss for me too.

I would be available Sunday 8pm far more often. Not sure how busy Zoom would be at that time for availability, or even whether it would suit everyone else, but seeing as how Matt raised the question, that's my 2c worth.
I got sick of sitting around doing nothing - so I took up meditation.

We could use skype or facetime if we could workout how to invite people If Zoom is too busy.

Friday is difficult for me as there are always deadlines to meet and when I am busy I tend to forget and hence I have missed out most of the meetings. Sunday night could be a goer for me also.

    Pagie

Having regard to my history, I am not sure I have the right to ask this, but was the coffee still hot?

    Phil,

Sounds great. Would Sunday night mean less Coffee and maybe other beverages ???.

    Cheers Matt.

    Hi Matt,

The Sunday Round Table with drinks (byo)

open for time suggestion knowing that we will never find an optimal time.
first thought would be 7pm but that’s just an idea

    cheers Phil

Agree we ain’t going to please everyone, I suggest 8 pm being it’s later in the day, most house holds are now winding down for the weekend, it’s a quieter time of the day.
Tho we do need to consider time differences as well.

    Cheers Matt.

Time differences among the Eastern states ends next month, albeit temporarily. For six months there will only be 2 hours difference east to west and north to south. Apart from WA, there will only be 30 minutes difference.

I think keeping Friday and adding on Sunday is a good idea. See how it develops. Both may be popular or one may become dominant and wipe the other out. That would be the participants voting with their attendance.

I would prefer 8pm rather than 7pm but that's just my preference.

Well, I missed the Prattle 2 weeks running...On both occasions I had a deadline to meet and work right through the day and didn't even remember that the Prattle was on... As my own circumstances have somewhat changed, I would prefer another time, late afternoon - say 5 or 6pm. Please note this is just my personal preference.

The original time of 12 noon on a Friday suited Lance & I when the prattle first started. As the number of participants increase a new time slot may well prove more suitable for everyone.

    Cheers,
    Yvan

I am happy with whatever time suits the rest of you. I can forget what day of the week it is whichever day is chosen.
