making pallets and furniture from COCONUT HUSKS challange
I am located near area where lots of coconut husk is available, i was reading about how to put in use. One way to recycle this abundant material is to make pallets by chopping it down, heated then pressed it. i have not run any test yet. I have seen someone does it in Indonesia (they call it COCOPALLET). Idea seem simple but to get durable pallets done depend on details of process. From some reading it seem me they are using resin/glue that naturally available in coconut husk, they activate it with heat and pressure. I want to know if any one have knowledge about how to activate glue in husk material, I like to avoid using petroleum based resin as i like to keep cost low and pallets to be decomposable after use potentially for plant fertilizer.
anyone have any input please let me know. or can contact me directly

Apparently they rely on the natural lignin in the material; it melts at 170C (340F), so I'd imagine you'd want to get over that.
From what I've been able to find online, MDF production presses operate at up to 7-800 psi
