I quite understand why you would ask that question, but I am afraid there is a far more banal explanation. I have a Dremel tool and a pneumatic die grinder and I keep them and the associated paraphernalia in this old blow mould tool box. It got left outside the shed and was a convenient "table:" I used because I was being lazy. For the final photos I am hoping to source a tablecloth.

And if you do get caught it is easier to seek forgiveness than permission.

I am hanging out for a quilt, but I don't like my chances.

Just a plain, white, cloth please Paul, it can be damask if you wish, but we don't want to get too distracted by the background......

    Cheers,

Funny you should mention that, as when I asked the same question here I received a similar conflict of colour attitude! So I am working on another tack

    First cut

Second cut. Not exactly gossamer thin. Needs some tuning.

Only tried one blade so far. Another four to go.

I hope now that the Antibody is sitting on plinth on top of the fire place mantle, with the whole family talking and admiring your master piece.

    Cheers Matt.

Awesome! All the work before paid off! No mantle piece yet. That thing wants to work!

Let us know.how the brass piece at the mouth works. Seems to work well.

Thank you gentlemen for the kind comments.

There is some tuning to go yet, but I could not resist a try out.

I have sharpened the three thinner blades at 30° (that was the one I tried), 35° and 40°. One thick blade is at 25° (to be buffed) and the other thick scrub blade is at ?° I don't know how to sharpen those so I did it much like I would an axe head. They still have to be tested. There is some further flattening of the plane sole required and some flattening of the blades themselves. Most of the rest falls into the realm of tarting up: The Anti-Body wishes to be presented in the best possible light having regard to such stiff competition out there.

    Regards
    Paul
