    Default 28ft Daydream project

    Hi,

    I am new to this forum. I am embarking on a resto of a 28ft Daydream that I bought today.

    I am keen to hear from anyone who has any knoweldge and / or experience with these yachts and could lend some advice. I am yet to take her out of the water which will be the moment of truth.

    Default Daydream restoration

    Can't help you directly but there are two on the hard at Gravelly Beach boatyard in Tasmania being restored. One of them by an old hand who used to sail one around PNG who swears by them. Try giving the yard a call on 6394 4271, they're very friendly- this is Tasmania after all - and they may be able to put you on to him. The Daydream alongside his was being restored by a lady sailer but I didn't have chance to speak to her.
