Boat Identification
Hello everyone,
Long time reader first time poster, after reading many boat builds/restorations I have made the decision to acquire my own boat for restoration, this will be my first boat and first boat restoration job I have taken on I have restored many cars and bikes but that experience is irrelevant as the boat I am in the process of obtaining is plywood as compared to steel bikes and cars... I have inspected the boat I am purchasing and have taken note of work that needs to be done while inspecting I was looking for a build plate with vessel make and model but could not find one with these details the only thing I found was a plate from the northcote boat yards showing the boat was built there with a number stamped on it and a registration plate with a red plate above from the transport regulation board with the year 1984 stamped into it, I am hoping to find the maker of this boat out of curiosity and for research purposes, the previous owner knows nothing about the boat as it was handed down from a deceased person which gave no details, I am attaching a picture to this post in hope that someone will recognize the make/model if it makes any difference I will mention that the it is a left hand drive any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
P.S I could not find anywhere suitable on the site to post this question so I hope starting a thread is not a problem.
