Thread: back to back boat seat plan

G'day Tom, what do you mean exactly by 'back to back' seats and what do you envisage people doing in them? Rowing? Drinking tea? Taking potshots at local wild life? Which leads to 'how is the craft propelled?'

Maybe a picture or three? (we have to ask for pictures, it's traditional ... and very helpful)

ok but right now vi do not have a floor in it yet but it is a 18 foot starcraft with a 60 hp out board evinrude . just something to go on the river and play with i will get some pic up soon

Ahh, fair enough. This being the Storer Designs forum, I was thinking more of a rowboat or a Goat Island Skiff.

So, what sort of seats are you after? Obviously not plastic or you wouldn't be asking. Wicker? Ply? Solid timber?

Hmm, I wonder if you could get hold of one of those carbon fibre seat molding things the Formula One teams use to make seats that perfectly match your rear (best not in my case, I couldn't afford all that cf )
