Probably too much... I'll just send it to auction I think. I've had it 20 years now. I've had the body restored, but it could use an interior refit.
I need to get it out of the shed before I get stuck right into the Dragon.
I took a good look inside the Dragon yesterday. The damage/neglect is pretty much confined to the cockpit area... some ribs have been sistered, others are well on their way out and so on. A few floors need to be remade. The carlins need replacing along the length of the cabin. I'll take some photos later in the week.

Hi, I'm also reading the posts in the other forum where this tale, tall and true is unfolding, the gentleman from Prince Edward Island states that Tomahawk came back to Canada after the 56 games and as a Canadian boat it would have carried a sail number beginning with KC not KA.
Maybe a bit of digging with the Aus Dragon Association may be in order to see if there is a registration change logged and help establish the provenance of KA40 or KC40 as the case may be.

I shall do Harry. I've just got a rash of deadlines that all say the same date at the moment Fri - 12th.... I'll get them out of the way then I'll try to track it all down. I've found something in the paperwork that refers to the NZ boat from those Olympics too.... Red Dragon, I believe... hard to know. It isn't a major issue for me. She is shown in a printout of the register from 2004 as being a Savage build from 1954. I wonder if she was just a trial boat for one of the overseas teams?
