broken burton surf ski
hi all ..does anyone know how to repair a burton surf ski. the hull is paper thin and it lookes like crosshatching material inside. there is a soft spot that must have been hit when stored in a shed. i just got it and know nothing about them.
i hope i can paddle it
. so how do i fix it

i think it is some sort of fibre mat that has been glassed over..the centre rib is ply. try the photos.

Is the inside of the boat accessible in that area?

this woodwork forum..also has boat builders in it. (heaven forbid some of them may use fiberglass)

Is the inside of the boat accessible in that area?

Repeat ... is the inside of the boat in that area accessible? Can you get at it or is it inaccessible.
