Built extra supports under the boat... halfway along the keel and up under the bow... solid as now.
Also started cleaning up excess glue from the boxes and prepping for fillets & glassing... wish i was a bit more cautious gluing inside the hull at the start... oh well, lesson learned for the next boat

Have been prepping the hull for fillets and glassing... what a painful job that is. I wish i was much neater and meticulous when applying the glue initially. i have a lot of little sharp bits to clean up and lumps and bumps everywhere... the grinder & power file makes short work of most but its still a slow process.
anyways, other than grinding and being covered head to toe in glue powder (yes i am wearing appropriate PPE) i decided to cut out bulkheads 3 & 4 for the fuel tank followed by a dry fit. Just need to work out its final position.

i noticed that the sides weren't dead flat, not something i noticed when it was upside down and 2 foot off the floor.
This has now been fixed, however the nose is low by 9mm but its all good as that will be rectified easily enough.
Also trimmed up the bulkheads to remove the lip that is used on the strongback.

a fair bit has been done, but no where near where i'd like the boat to be at.
The forward section has been glassed.
Then i ran out of fibreglass whilst preparing the rest of the subfloor boxes

I am also making the seats fully removable so they can be removed for easy cleaning

at this point the console & deck mods have been removed, the sole has been removed and we are glassing the boxes and working out all the cable and pipe/conduit requirements and get them installed.
once all that is done then we will install the fuel tank and then foam all the under floor boxes.

Due to my back (old work place injury flarred up) and other little projects i hadn't worked on the boat much at all...
I did manage to get some more done...
The underfloor boxes have been glassed and are now all finished!!
And one of the other projects finished... the hummingbird box

had to build the transom doubler... so the outboard has some meat to mount to.
lots of ply, all glued up and is now glued and glassed in place.
Next task is to install the chase tubes/conduits for the electrical systems and plumbing... fun!!
