Building a new deck
Unfortunately, despite probably needing one, I'm not building the deck for my boat. Its a 5x4m deck in the alfresco area and although it sounds rather nautical, it's not.
However... I may have accidentally on purpose over ordered the 90x19 Batu planks, so I'm expecting to have a bit left over. My wife thinks I'm just focusing on the house, but its good to plan ahead. I was wondering if it would be any good in a marine environment.
It might be a bit heavy to use to replace the deck of my Hartley TS16, but I'm thinking of using it for some rubbing strips or some hatch slides. I may even try and laminate it together with some of the left over cedar lining from the alfresco ceiling and make a new tiller.
Any thoughts?Sonata 6
