Default Anyone Know who built this

Hi all, New to this forum, I've been lurking and learning for a while and will be asking for some advice once I get further into this project.

Just wondering if anyone can help me out, as to who may have built this boat. It's a 28' (8.3m) Fibreglass over Ply. I would guess it was built around the 70's or 80's, but don't know for sure. The Registration papers indicate, Make: Unknown.
    Thanks....

I see several things that make me think she's a home built. This could mean JimBob and his half brother/uncle Joe Larry, built it in their adjoining backyards or a semi professional in their spare time, at the shop. It appears to be fairly well done, though and again, there are obvious building mistakes that most pro's wouldn't do, suggesting a less experienced, but not a novice build.

I would assume that you have registration numbers, as well as title information about the boat. Often the registration number can be traced back through previous owners and you can call, to get some information about the boat. I would also assume you have some sort of HIN attached to the boat and title. Most of these numbers have a prefix that suggests a licensed builder or home built result. If it's a home built boat, tracking down where and what she might be often runs into a brick wall, but a manufactured boat, that is professionally done by a person or firm with a MIC (Manufacture Identification Code) will usually include their MIC prefix in the HIN (ID number used for title and registration purposes) somewhere on the boat. The locations can vary around the world, but universally accepted is the upper right hand corner of the transom. If this number doesn't exist, you have little recourse, but to track down previous owners through the registration number.
