Default Canoe hull needs a good home - FREE

I am about to start building another boat and I need some room. I am going to try my first Skin on Frame boat.

Do you know of a home that needs a FREE boat? Maybe someone who can't build one or buy one. I am new to Lake Macquarie and I don't know of anyone who would like it.

The hull is painted now. It has no rot and is in good condition. It is 11' based on a Wa'apa.

See - Wa'apa a three board sailing canoe

It comes with a daggerboard. The box towards the back is a well fitted for a 2hp Yamaha outboard (mounted backwards). It has mast partner and step for a rig. Made from clear Hoop pine and pacific plywood. Bottom is glassed.

Just boat with daggerboard, daggerboard case cover, motor well cover. Someone will need to make some floats and rudder for it. Comes with Building Outrigger Sailing Canoes by Gary so they have some plans to build the floats. It's just a shorter, wider and higher Wa'apa. Good freeboard.

The canoe has found a new home. A nice guy called Bryan, who is just starting in boatbuilding, viewed it as a bit of a head-start to the canoe he wanted.
