We call that the moaning chair in the USA. It usually requires a table within arm's reach to place your beer(s) and a table lamp is nice, so you can see how dirty your hands are as you wipe tears from your eyes, contemplating the latest in a long line of screw ups.

Hi PAR,
don't like the sound of that "moaning" bit.
I prefer to think of it as a time of quiet contemplation and reflection of past misdeeds.
Then again, I am full of SXXT.

Me ... I think it is the belt sander.
When a job just gets too much for finesse to get anywhere ... give me a belt sander.
This is completely rotten advice for anyone not used to the terrible thing - you can do a lot of damage very quickly.
