Default Foam Rollers for 2 Pack Polyurethane

    Hi.

I'm going to paint my boat with International Perfection. Their instruction video says it's best to use solvent resistant high density foam rollers and then tip with a brush.

Does anyone know where to get this type of roller?

I have been using the white ones from Bunnings (uni-pro) for the Interprotect primer but they start to get a bit soft after a while. Are there better ones?

    Thanks!

    Ian

You haven't had any replies so far.

I would suggest giving Duck Flat Wooden Boats a call in Adelaide. Speak to David. They use rollers for painting both enamels and two pots and can put you onto a brand quickly.

Thanks Michael - I'll give that a try.

I'm hesitant about a recommendation, being here in the colonies, but a dead give away when looking is the solvent resistant rollers will usually have a plastic core, rather then the paper typically seen.

Thanks - I've spoken to the International people and they can supply rollers so I'll probably use those for the top coat.

Your local paint supply store will have solvent resistant rollers on the shelf.
