    Cheers PAR.
Yes, the girlfriend has played a part so far in the colour ideas. Sitting at the table with plans and drawings.
I went to the slipways in Bundaberg and sat down with two fellas who were brilliant. They went through techniques and ideas, clour schemes and preparation.
I walked away with some primer -International 1180. They were happy for me to come back and discuss, get advice and upadate my project. Top fellas that really took interest in my questions.
So now I am staining the seats and extras and getting the best finsih possible.
I am steering toward the white hull, white trim on deck, with a grey deck and stained extras as stated before. Maybe a cream somewhere. Maybe cream hull.
I will take my time, flip her over and start on my way.

There's plenty of white hulled boats, we don't need another. Toss some pigment in the can of white and make it something else, even if just a slight tint.

White decks and topsides, tend to cause glare, so most prefer a softer color, such as off white, cream, tan, pale yellow, etc., which knocks down the glare.

Look the other half in the eye and repeat these words; "honey (or whatever pet name usually works), you're just so much better at this than I, could you please pick the colors for the boat" She'll quickly realize, you're the guy that would happily walk out of the house, with a plaid shirt and stripped paints and quickly assume the job.
