Identifying ski boat
I have recently acquired my late fathers ski boat. He built it in the mid to late 50's and was last registered in 64. The boat has been stored in a shed since then, motor still turns (by turning prop) and no rot can be found.
I intend to restore-repaint and rebuilt motor, and was interested to know if anyone knew what design it was built around  , or any other forum members with similar boats.
Length 16"
Flat head ford V8, optional rats nest included.
Marine ply and Oregon (I think) construction.

From the look of it is an old Carvel hull, popular around the fifities, had an old one my mates and I did up,won the bridge to bridge one year and was left in a paddock until we bought it ,lots of weekends and money poured into it,(water cooled manifolds, ford v8 pilot motor, new dashboard, hull strenghtened, new stringers to sit motor on,new skeg bearings, prop, etc,etc ) had great fun in it,could really get up and go.
