Information about the Wa'apa
Hi,
I have decided to make the 4.8 metre tacking rig Wa'apa. I was wondering if there was anything out there for me to know that could be useful. I have decided to make it out of 4 mm 3-5 ply for the sides, with 6 mm 3-5 ply for the bottom in the 'dory hull' shape. I have also decided to put a steering oar on it, with a box for attaching an outboard motor. I am going to use epoxy for its apropriate uses. I'll be using it for sailing on large bodies of still water, like lakes and dams, not for ocean-going. If there is anything out there, I'll be grateful to know about it. Thankyou.
