PAR (Paul Ricelli)
Hello all,
I haven't visited this forum much the last couple of years. Don't know if this has been mentioned already, but had a quick look at recent threads and I don't think so.
I have read on another boat forum that PAR - designer Paul Riccelli, has passed away recently. PAR was a fairly regular provider of fantastic advice for amateur boat builders on this forum. He provided me with assistance a couple of times a few years ago, and I have seen plenty of other occasions he has helped others.
Seemed like a really nice guy, and his own designs look great. RIP Paul - a sad loss to the wooden boat world.

Even though It's been a long time since I have dabbled in a bit of boat building I have enjoyed reading many of PAR's posts. Sad to see such a helpful gentleman pass on.

Par has had significant input to my building of Meerkat the catboat. I, like many others, will miss his wisdom and experience terribly.

PAR was also well known on other forums for giving good advice based on his wealth of experience. He will be missed by many people who never met him in person but enjoyed interacting with him on the 'net. At only 61 he's departed way too soon.

Sorry to hear of PAR's passing. My boat renovation project a few years back benefitted greatly from his good advice on this forum and others. R.I.P.
