periwinkle build....
The last 12-18 months has seen some steady progress on a sailboat. Designed by Ross Lillistone, the Periwinkle is truly a pleasure to build. The drawings, the notes and valuable discussions with Ross have given my journey a great deal of confidence and reassurance. This is my first build. Hopefully the images dont show up too many constructional oddities....and no doubt the odd mis-interpretation here or there.....but in all fairness i think its coming along ok. Time is of course the biggest hurdle - as with a young family - time is always in short supply - hence the time it has taken me to get so far....i'll try and post more pics as it porceeds to completion......and as is always the nature of these forums ..........i look forward to any advice or constructive criticism along the way cheers szcz

All that with a young family in 12-18 months?
That's great looking work at warp speed.

Congratulations. Should be in the water for summer, you think?
You know you're making progress when there's sawdust in your coffee.

Nothing compares with following a great build - I love it! You should be very proud. Can't wait to see her all finished.
