Shakes head sadly at the idea that it turned into a protracted discussion.
A machine is intended to remove material faster than it can be done by hand.
We are softer than 99.99% of material as needs removing, therefore material
is removed from our persons faster than from the intended substrate. (except
for those u-beaut plaster saws that don't cut skin).
It ain't rocket science.
<sigh>
Love the sig by the way. Only thing I've seen come close is a safety sign in
the loo at a fire station... "There is no right way to do the wrong thing."
cheers
AJ

I'm sorry to hear PAR & WRB, and no doubt others, who have been injured whilst planking boats.
I've been slapped in the face by a lightly clamped 4mm thick plank which sprung loose, and I wouldn't wish for anything more forceful.
My original warning was of course in jest. Safe planking everyone. Bill P
