sanding/painting hull
Hi all,
As you can see from the attachment I am sanding my Hartley right back to the timber and then I am going to respray. I have progressed further with sanding that this pic shows and am now at the point where I have to work on the bottom of the boat. What is the best way to remove the boat from trailer so that I can work on the bottom. Also is there a way that when I remove the boat from trailer is there a safe way to tilt the boat to work on one side and tilt it back and work on the other side.
Hopefully this makes sense. If anybody has pics of the way they have done this procedure they would be appreciated.
Isn't sanding a pr???ck of a job?
Thanks all

Turning hulls over
Hi CSP I recently had to roll over my new 19 foot raised deck launch hull. I constructed out of pine 2 frames that tightly fitted the hull to which was attached a quadrant. [both the same diameter] The 2 quadrant were tied together to prevent them from moving along the hull and with a few willing helpers the hull can be rolled back and forth. Ha! Guess who did not make one of the frames strong enough. You've got it. Rest assured the theory is fine and your boat is not that heavy. If all else fails put on a keg and get 12 strong men.
regards Ecca
