stainless steel stem capping
Hi all,
I am building a 1950's style boat. I am trying to locate somewhere that sells the stainless steel stem and keel capping that you see on some older style craft.
Does anyone know where you can get this stuff

Due to the curves and differing boat shapes, I think that the only option will be to have them custom made. I have been looking at the ones on the front (not fluent with boat language) and thinking of fabricating one for myself but have decided that it would be too big of a job, so will stick with the original 1/3rd section stainless bar.

Yep, these pieces are "application specific". In other words, each one is designed around a single boat, with each being different then the next.
You can make a wooden or stiff card stock template, then have one welded up for you at a local fabrication shop.
