    It's touches like the wood plugs over the screw heads that says this boat was
    a special build by someone. Great that you are getting to bring her back to
    her former glory Richard. She's a beautifully proportioned vessel.

    yes it's just a shame they didn't try match the timber a little better i think i might dig them out and fit some the match a bit better.

    More trouble than it's worth mate. A couple of dozen coats of varnish and half an hour at sea and you'll never notice them
