Traditional Paddlewheeler Build
Hi all,
Just for something different I thought I might try to put together a bit of a historical summary of the building of Kingfisher - a traditional Murray River Paddlewheeler (see avatar)
This build is no longer a work in progress except in the usual maintenance & modification sense.
But the build was one hell of a project for Ray - the owner/builder. And maybe this will help to honour his efforts. (Ray passed away 1999).
So bear with me over the next little while as I try to piece it together.
It seems most of my photos may be well oversize. What's the best way to trim & post 'em?

Hi mate - my first log in for many months (sometimes kids will have such effect...).
Nice sentiment of yours to want to document what can only have been a huge effort by your mate Ray. In answer to your question (and it's a shame noone has responded), you could download some free software here: FastStone Photo Resizer - Powerful Image Converter/Resizer or you can do the resizing online for free at: Free Online Picture Resizer - Crop and Resize photos, images, or pictures online for FREE!
I might add that I've not used either, but reviews have suggested these to be a decent starting point. I'm sure they'll do the job - I'd probably go for the first option.
Cheers and I look forward to seeing some pics!

PS. My wife's family is from around Rochester/Echuca - so I'm sure my father in law would be interested to have a look as well!
