Is this timber any good?
Hi there all!
As a result of my tree lopping business I have a large Rotnest Island Pine or Norfolk Island Pine available still in log form.
I am able to mill it to your requirements on my Lucas mill.
If this is no good, please advise me of any other WA timbers that are suitable for boat building and then I can keep an eye out for them for you all!
Bear in mind that most of my logs wood be freshly cut trees and not seasoned timber. Comments welcomed on this suitability also.
Thanks to all!

When the British found Norfolk Isl they were excited by the look of the trees as supplies of wood for shipbuilding were valuable. On trying some they were soon disappointed and to this day the NIP has been used as a feature tree in parks and gardens. I have never used the wood so I may be off the mark so if anybody with working experience of it wants to wade in I would be interested. I have heard if it being Turned.
