    Default Yanmar Diesel engine query

    G'day folks,
    Not sure if I should be posting this question on this forum but here goes -

    I just bought a 19' boat which is powered by a Yanmar 2QM15 Diesel engine. I have to transfer the registration into my name and need to include the engine number with other details on the paperwork. Trouble is I can't find where the engine number is stamped. Does anyone know where it might be on this model engine?

    Thanks for that link it will come in handy. I've found a .pdf of the owner's service manual bot the engine number location is not mentioned in it. I'll give Yanmar a ring to see if they can help.
