concrete slab cost sydney
Hello,
I have seen various posts relating to the price of a concrete slab, but many are not within Sydney - and I am guessing there are price differences between states.
We have been quoted $17,000 for:
- a 90m2 slab, including footings, SL82 mesh, bars, plastic membrane
Access is narrow, so a concrete pump will be required.
All excavation, and laying of road base (if required, as we may be on solid rock!) will be done separately.
$17,000 seems very steep to me...what do others think?
Thanks for your time

Hi,
I am just a self taught bush builder/ handyman. That sounds way too expensive to me, especially since excavation is extra.
If it were me I would get another costing/quote.
Cheers.

Dear, Deer, Beer....
G'Day Bianca,
Some other info would assist
Thickness of Slab
Size of Footings / Foundations
not in the Slab measurements
What finishes, recesses, slopes for drainage, special finish around the edge, etc
Concrete Pump Cost could be found out Seperatly,
just know how much Concrete is to be pumped and What distance:confused:
The more information you/we have the more accurate you can nail the costs more accuratly
$17,000.oo sounds over the Top without doing any accurate CalculationsNavvi
