hardwood joists and bearers
I probably already know the answer to this, but my architect has specified F27 hardwood joists and bearers. Would most people bin this and go for lvls or similar?
Am I going to trouble finding a framing nail gun that will penetrate F27? Any suggestions?

I'm not a fan of LVL, I specified steel bearers (hot dipped gal) with hardwood joists which are bolted not nailed. Veranda is hardwood bearers with hardwood joists and nailing wasn't a problem with a quality gun.
