1955 robert clark 25' timber yacht
Hi,
does anyone know where I can obtain a copy of the plans for a robert clark 25' timber yacht, I need to replace the stuffing box as it is brass and crumbling.
It looks like a nightmare to replace, does anyone have ideas.

In a boat that I built many years ago, i started with a stuffing box , which was attached to the stern log with 50mm suction hose, this leaked badly and was fixed by , epoxy encapsulating the join .
A stuffing box can be sourced from MUIR'S Marine ,Manly , QLD, if you need it, I am sure they have them, if not in stock, then by order.
This would be an option for you , it also assists with shaft alignment/misalignment. and alignment is not so critical as the stuffing box is able to move to take to misalignment,.
