    Default boat cabin plans

    Hi there, Just wondering if anyone can help. I am chasing some cabin plans at the right price for my hartley 17' vixen. I would like to build a half cabin for the boat and they dont have to be original hartley plans but they would certainly make it easier to build. Even some hand drawn detailed plans\sketches would be appreciated with the types of timber needed.

    The boat is 17ft long and around 8ft wide at its widest point so obviously the cabin wont be 8ft wide

    MAAAAAAATE, the vixen is a bit of a legend in off shore power boat designs from that era.


    There are lots of pics of this boat in race trim. I do not know of any cruising desgns for this hull. It was meant to go fast.

    Perhaps Hartley, can supply you with something ?
