Yes , and they are both interesting.
The first is a Wilson boat , and a cutey , the second is an old lighthouse etc supply boat , and is supposed to be a good sea boat , and sails ok too.
Just a bit bigger than I was looking for.Has been set up for craying now , with wet well and freezers.
Not an industry with much future , at the moment.

OK , I've found it.
If I can get all of my ducks lined up (could I be so lucky ?) , this is my next boat.
It was a sail boat , then a fishing boat , then a recreational boat , in the fishing boat style.
I'd like to set it up to sail again .
I'm certainly not holding my breath , but this is the boat.

What has happened about the Tassie boat ?.
Nothing.
It has an appeal , but the "situation" is very messy , I'm hesitant to get involved in it.
Whereas this boat is the same price , and has been set up quite well.
It just needs to be re-rigged for sail , thats it.
Whereas , the Tassie boat would need a fair bit of money spent (since I couldn't do the work myself).
My hands are getting bad again , 20 minutes with the paint brush is about my limit , before my hands are locked up completely.
HS is going on the market the end of this month , the property is almost certainly being sold , and a boat like this would be nice , to cruise around in , motorsailing , and fishing.
I haven't ruled out the Tassie boat , but I just don't want to get involved in someone elses scraps.
Because I'd like to go around Tassie , in my own time , and I'd hate to have some people working against me.
I'm no longer a rooster , I'm just a feather duster.
Here are a couple more photos.

Well HS is on the market , and the real estate agent comes tomorrow.
I'm still no closer to finding a cray boat style motorsailer though .
I've just about given up finding one OS , communication has turned in to a real stumbling block.
I'm looking within Australia , no joy so far.

I've just attached scan from Aleksander Celarek's book "Kaszubskie łodzie" (Kashubian boats) on another threat, but I want to do else: drawings of German Cutter Pommern from "Der Kleinshiffbau" magazine (1921-22) - scanned book's page 85. This type of fishing cutters Scandinavian (Danish -Bornholm's and Swedish) proveniency were popular on Polish Baltic coast from 1880.
Hoping it is interresting for you.
And thanks for your great photos of boats!

Thanks Robert.
In actual fact there are a number of Archer type boats available for sale now , and there are also lots of other similar boats available.
I have some photos of an English boat , available in Sweden , which would be fun to sail.
Except they were all designed and built when men were men , and they didn't mind hanging on to a tiller for hours , in freezing conditions.
I'd like something with a wheelhouse , so I can get in out of the cold.
I'll post photos of the English boat.

Robert , I assume you have the Christian Neilsen book on boat designs.
Anyway , here is the English cutter , 30ft , would be fun to sail , but not to hang on to that wheel for hours , in winter.

Thats a tad cold, it doesn't get anything like that here .
The Christian Nielson book is available in English , I have it , and I think it would be well worth your while getting a lend of it , at least.
Here is another photo of the cutter.
