David Payne's Kayaks
Hi all,
Been a while since I've been here, but have been quietly lurking.
I've finally got my workshop cleared out and set up to build myself a wooden kayak (or 2, or 3...) and, thanks to seeing Colin's request for Put-puts, thought I'd have a look at David Payne's site and noticed he had kayak plans, which I'd completely forgotten about.
So, I'm planning on doing one of his TK1's or the K1. And finally to the question...
Has anyone here built/paddled one of his kayaks (or even rowing sculls/skiffs)?
Interested in thoughts/tips on building or on how they perform. I haven't seen much about them so thought some of the more experienced forumites may have come across them or perhaps built one.
Thanks,
Darren

Howdy Darren,
You won't find a single bad word from me about any aspect of David's work. His boats are wonderful!
