Payne-Mortlock Sailing Canoe
The things one stumbles across when not really looking...
Last known club racing these beasties is the Seacliff SC in Adelaide.
Saw the last 4 or 5 a few years ago whilst walking the wife & kids along
the beach. Sweet looking boat. Very quick. But not popular enough to
survive. I guess sliding planks & one-design are just too old-hat and
restrictive for modern cheque-book skiff sailors....
