    Question Need plans for a plywood boat.

    Anyone here have a set of plans for q plywood boat, or any type of easy build a boat project?

    I lost my right arm to a boat accident, and I want to build one, so maybe it will give me the courage to go back on the water.

    Hi Roger,
    Having worked with a bloke who lost his arm just above the elbow I'm well aware of the obstacles that can be overcome.

    As for a boat without knowing what experience you have or style of boat you want it's a bit hard to give advice but I'll jump in a say for a toe in the water approach I think Michael Storers Quick Canoe would be worth a look.

    Duckworks - Quick Canoe 155

    Straight forward while providing a quite usable a stable end result and a good spring board for more difficult projects.

    Hi Roger
    What restrictions do you have on propulsion method?
    I'm guessing waving a paddle or oars symmetrically presents difficulties?
    Likewise rigging - things which require tying of fiddly knots would be a pain?
    Likewise, what style of hull / boat are you interested in.
