Hi there

I've been a regular visitor over time to these boards but this is my first post. I have found them to be really useful. I hope you can help with my question/s.

We are in the process of doing a house renovation and want to lay Hoop Pine boards (150mm wide) in the downstairs area to try and match upstairs. (We know they won't be the same but something close would be fine. House is a raised Queensland, timber house circa 1930.) These would have battens placed underneath them over a concrete floor. We will get some staining down to get a little bit of an aged look. Can anyone give us a rough idea on pricing of:

1) Clear One Face Hoop Pine 150mm battened, layed, stained and polished per square metre (There will be about 87 square metres)

versus

2) Tight Knot Hoop Pine 150mm battened, layed, stained and polished per square metre?

The more replies, the merrier.

Thanks in advance.

MJ
