Rotting Floorboards
I'm not sure whether to put this here or in the bathroom section, but here goes.
I pulled up the lino and underlay (which I assume is MDF) in the section next to the shower. The water has been leaking, and now the MDF is completely rotten, and when I pulled this up, the floor boards underneath are also starting to go.
Ultimately we want to renovate the bathroom, but at the moment have no real funds to permanently fix it at this stage. Does anyone know of any temporary solution to this problem? (My idea was to let the floorboards dry-out, replace the MDF, and seal it until we can replace the bathroom.)
Cheers,
Sunny....
