Seperating floorboards
Hi All.
Just looking for some advice.
There are two rooms in my house which were originaly carperted but they were in poor condition so decided upon ripping them up and laying carpet tiles until I decided on a course of action.
By chance I found a house being demolished that had the exact same flooring as my own (house was built in the 70's).
The problem was I only had a day to remove the flooring before the house was being demolished so i took to the flooring with a circular saw and cut it into large sheets.
I'm not sure on what the specific term for the flooring is but its a sort of like a jarrah vaneer oon a plywood/pine tongue and groove base.
The issue I am having is that now that I have the sheets home, I am having trouble seperating the boards into workable planks.
Would anyone have any tipes for seperating the boards without causing damage as i have tried multiple tools but keep splintering the wood.
It doesnt look like its glued except for spot glue dabs.
