Varnishing a parquetry floor
We have parquetry floors laid in our apartment. The vanish has worn off where we once had an office chair with the computers.
To re vanish this area, could we just said back the spot and vanish or would we have to do to whole loungeroom?

Theoretically you should do the whole floor.
But I'd try wiping a bit of polyurethane on with a nice soft cotton rag, say 2 or 3 coats and see what it comes up like. It might be good enough to forget doing the whole lot
