External ducted heater unit location - regulations
Hi all,
As part of our renovation I'm planning to have an external ducted heater unit (Brivis MPS He20) installed. We are actually replacing an existing unit, and due to circumstances, the most convenient place for us to install it is against a nib wall between the house and the garage door (see picture). The nib wall is 1500mm wide, and the heater unit is 1160mm
I was wondering what the regulations were, in regards to installation. In particular, I'm interested to know what the required distances are for the following:
- Distance from corner of house (do internal and external corners have different requirements?)
- Distance from gas meter
- Distance from an openable door (garage door in my case)
Many thanks,
Jonty
PS: If anyone knows where I can get a copy of the regs, that would be great :brava
