Bedhead with inbuilt reading lamps
Has anyone come across any designs for double bedhead with integral reading lamps or lighting? I stuffed up with my new ceiling lighting position, and now need to incorporate some lighting in a new bedhead design
regards,

Hi Jill,
I once tried to design such a thing and then mocked it up, but I found that all designs put the lights TOO close, TOO directional and, without halogen lights, it was also TOO hot. I ended up fitting a wall mounted bank of 3 lights high enough above the bed to remove the heat. Luckily for me the wall I was working with was an external wall so it was quite easy to get the wire down the cavity but there are other ways to get wires to a wall mounted light fitting.
good luck, fletty
