location of transformer for corner mounted downlight for kitchen bench lighting
I'm planning on using halogen lights for the bench lighting in my kitchen. The lights I'm looking at sit in the corner between the splash back and the underside of the wall cabinet and project light onto the bench and they seem to be in common use at the kitchen displays.
However, the question is about the installation arrangement and more specifically the location of the transformer. The guy at the lighting shop tells me that the maximum distance between the light and transformer to 600mm. I like this type of light because they sit in the corner and don't need a false bottom in the wall cabinet.
I'm wondering for those that have these lights or have had them installed, where did they locate the transformer?
