$60 for 12mm Marine Plywood?
Hi, recently check the eBay and find out some cheap marine plywood available from one of Sydney timber supplier called Advanced Timber and Hardware. Anyone here has any experience dealing with this shop? Are they genuine marine plywood? Sounds like too cheap to be true. Pls advise.
Regards, Phil

Check the label again. If it actually says "prywood", I'd give it a wide berth.
Lots of really cheap crappy imported stuff around apparently, in which either the timber content/voids or the glue used to hold it all together may be suspect. Of course, you don't find the voids until you get it home and cut it up...

I'll second what Mr. Brush has said. Lots of regrets with seemingly cheap "marine grade" plywood, just to be fooled by really lousy imports out of China, that delaminate with the mere mentioning of moisture. If you can't pyhsically inspect the material and verify the grade, you'd be best advised to skip it. EBay was invented for folks to get ripped off, by other folks, that can't sell products through the usual channels. Better yet, call the supply company and see what they say. How much you want to bet they will not stand behind the product?
