Electrician needed for my Timber Ketch
Hello Folks,
I am looking for a good, reliable, timber friendly and reasonably priced electrician to do some work on my ketch. She is moored in Pittwater at the Quays.
If anyone can put me in touch, or if any of the forum memebrs are electricians could you drop me a reply, I would be grateful for any help.

Hi Sydneypom, The guys at Pittwater marine did some minor electrical work on Wavedancer when they dropped the engine in for me at Church Point. May be worth the trip (just up the road from the Quays) and have a chat with Peter, I have found them always willing to point me in the right direction. Tell us about your Ketch. Is this your first post, if so welcome.

Hello Ian,
We do know each other very well, let me give you a couple of clues - SYCC - used to have a plastic boat and have just taken the plunge and gone over to timber ( though have not told anyone yet !! ) - hosted the renaming of my previous boat - does my user name give you a final clue ??

Ok Ian, it has been a couple of weeks. When do we get to see the new boat. You can post a picture here and I want tell any one. Did you get your wiring sorted?
Are you going to sneek into the Newport wooden boat ?
I spent 12 hours painting WD on the weekend and it is still hard to see what I have done.

Hi Ian,
Well, doesnt time fly by.............!
The masts are out and have been prepped and I will be painting them over the coming week, hope to get them back in next week. Then out on a slip for a week to get the topsides painted, off white but still thinking about a colour for the bulwarks, probably a dark green.........then I will let you have a peek at her !!
