paint removal/perspex
I've just bought a ts16.unfortunatly the previous owner was not that carefull with painting.I've got enamel paint spots all over the perspex windows.Does anyone have any sugestions? i've tried turps and metho.I'm worried about "hotter" solvents harming the plastic windows.

I would put any solvent near perspex, it'll make a bad situation worse.
The only thing I can think of would be to use Novus Polish which is used to remove scratches etc from plastics. All the acrylic (which is what perspex is) pen turners use Novus to polish up their pens.
I got mine from EBay:
Pinball Novus 1, 2,and 3 - 2oz Bottle Of Each Polish | eBay
Hope this helps.

Hey Helliconia,
The only way is to carefully take them out and get new ones cut at the local Plastic Guy, even try the Windscreen Guys as some do boat windows.
Just my 2c worth.

The paint can be softened and partly removed with toluene, then buffed out with a cotton or wool pad.
