shrink covering for kyak
I am looking for a source of clear transparent shrink tight plastic covering. Like the ugly blue stuff used for boat storage covers only transparent. Anyone got any god sources??? Bob

I assume you are doing a skin on frame. I used tablecloth vinyl (about $5 per metre) and bought stainless steel staples from an upholster shop.
Have a look at Tom Yost's site , particularly the timber frame (non-folding) section.

Hope you are not intending to venture out onto the ocean? I have read some disturbing reports of sharks biting kayaks and can only imagine what a tasty looking meal you would appear particularly with overhead lighting.
