welcome to the forum, That looks like a pretty nice shed. It may be quite difficult to plaster the shed. The best way will be to batten out the steel with Rondo products. Visit their website, they make steel channels and everything else imaginable for plasterers. They are used extensively in commercial applications. They are also cheaper and faster to use than timber battens.

Hi, you have no alternative than to use batten to fix the plasterboard as the fixings should not exceed 600mm centers.

If you follow the rake you can use a direct fix clip srewed with 12mm teck screws to the side of the purlin. The battens can be then just cliped to the DFC Rondo part no 226 then furring channel part no 129. Furing channel over 16mm batten as the battens (for a ceiling will only span 900mm) f/c spans 1200mm

For the walls you can use a 16mm metal batten directly teck screwed to the frame.

There are other suppliers of the same products. Where ever you go they will recognise the rondo part numbers.

To flatten the ceiling you would use a suspended ceiling system.
Vf1 purlin clip to hang Rods.
121 pt no for rods come in3.6
2534 pt no for clip to fix top cross rail and rod
127 pt no for top cross rail (1200 centres opposite to purlin)
129 pt no for furring channes (600 centers " " " to tcr)
139 pt no for clip furing chnl to tcr.

works out about $12- $14 per m2 for suspended materials then plasterboard.
