Watching the weather is probably a good ploy, it's horrid out there at the moment.

I'll keep an eye on the emergency paging scanner website to see where you end up !!
Do me a favour & stay right away from Cherry Gdns. I'll be out of area & very
disappointed to miss the turn-out.

Hey Daddles
http://www.bom.gov.au/products/IDS65290.shtml
today (Wed) looks like the Port or West Lakes is the Go.
I need to sleep in - look at the time this was posted - but after midday would be good.
Tomorrow (Thur) looks calmer all round but will be "mainly fine".
What say you ?

Tomorrow is a better option because I'm coating the sides of the boat today. I'll need to be back home at 4 though.

Having not long ago crawled out of bed, tomorrow it is then...
I'll call you a bit later when I've woken up properly.

I'm going to have to call off tomorrow AJ, it looks like I'll have things happening - nothing dramatic, just stuff that can't be scheduled and as we know, boating can't be slotted into a sudden gap in the day. Sorry.

No worries Richard.
SWMBO has tomorrow off now, so I expect I'll be found other things to do...
cheers

I'm baaaaaaaack! .....well kind of - still having a few set up problems but this 23" LCD monitor is the duck's guts.
Anyway, back to the topic, I often have trouble committing to a particular day for paddling (and a problem with commitment in general) but keep posting planned trips - I'll manage eventually. Going to try to join a group from another forum (SA based) at Garden Island on the 30th. If I can only get away for half the day will consider a local jaunt.Cheers, Bob the labrat
Measure once and.... the phone rings!

Cherry Gardens (in "Region 7")
Visited you folks a couple or three years ago - night shift on one of the larger Humbug
Scrub shindigs. Blacking out along a narrow track cut by some crazy Parkie with a
toy dozer. Still got the funny shaped water bottle...
Got any good ideas on how to persuade SA Water that a few sail & paddle boats
aren't going to have any significant impact on water quality in South Para? Especially
since most of it probably came from the Murray Drain, same as Mt Bold.
(gotta pretend that this is boat related & on topic )
cheers
