    Default A few new boats.

Haven't posted is some time, stick my nose in now and then to
see who Par is harassing these days!

Had some health issues last year and have solved them, bought
a bicycle and did 9,000 miles in just under nine months, lost over
70lbs and feel 100%, Also tried to take the boat out and row at
    least three times a week.

Got into restoring some old bikes, not a lot of value, but bikes too
nice to see go to the dump.

This winter I have a new boat project, well several really...

RC air boats. Had the motors and radio equipment so cost was
very low. Just a little ply and a lot of work.

These two are done. But untested. It is a proven design so I don't
    foresee any problems.

Spider Biter: 31" long, 16" beam, just over seven Lbs, 1 hp.

Miss Bee Hiving, wife's boat, she did a lot of the wood work. And
helped with the paint. She loves to sand and is good at it.:
24" long, 13" beam just under 5 lbs, 1.2 hp.

And a 1/6th scale, work in progress, several more weeks to completion.

    Cage on the building jig:

    Hull under construction:

Lots of little details to deal with. Power steering.

    Casting our own deck cleats.

    Seats:

We also had a 30" snow, there is a 2002 Sable in there some place?

    1975 Spalding:

Any how, hope all the down under forumites are doing well..

I'm mighty impressed with your multi functional work benches, not to mention the works of art adorning those benches.

30" in less than six hours and the next day it was -18`f. Both
    all time records.

It is solid oak! So there is some CO2 in it!

This is a real battery, 1.25V, 2200ma, for the glow plug.

What a pity you live so far away from Hobart your boats would have looked right at home at the Australian wooden boat festival, now that your weather is starting to warm up I suppose your boat festivals will be cropping up all over the place.
