Further to the discussion of the Portsmouth Gig presented to the City of Sydney by the People & City of Portsmouth to celeabrate the arrival of the First Fleet:

It seems that the City of Sydney is now officially referring to this day as Invasion Day
City capitulates and calls arrival 'invasion' in plan preamble
No wonder that the Portsmouth Gig is unwanted!
