    Default Small steamer on river

Saw this nice little steamer on the river yesterday. It was cruising past with a couple of different steam whistles blowing and attracted a lot of attention.

Hiroller, given the German flag I'd say the Vaporosa was at home - the photo was taken at Rudeshiem on the Rhine.

That web site says the hull is fibreglass - I'm kind of disappointed it isn't timber but at least there is the teak deck and mahogany interior. It was great to see live too, the skipper seemed to be enjoying himself immensely.
